Preparation

Start with a clean face. Wash your face thoroughly and then apply a toner to tone the skin.

Apply a facial oil or serum to improve the glide of the Gua Sha stone and protect the skin.

Application technique

Neck: Start at the base of the neck and gently move the stone upwards to the chin. Repeat this step several times on each side.

Jaw: Place the stone at the chin and scrape along the jawbone towards the ear. This movement helps to release tension.

Cheeks: Start in the center of the face and move the stone in gentle, outward motions across the cheekbones toward the hairline.

Eyes: Use the narrower side of the stone and make gentle movements from the inner corner of the eye outwards towards the temple. This reduces puffiness and promotes lymphatic drainage.

Forehead: Start in the middle of the forehead and move the stone outwards towards the temples.

Pressure and angle: Hold the Gua Sha stone at an angle of about 15 degrees to the skin. Apply gentle, even pressure and avoid pressing too hard to prevent skin irritation.

Aftercare

Clean the Gua Sha stone after each application with warm water and soap to remove bacteria.

Apply a moisturizing cream after the treatment to soothe the skin.

Regularity

For optimal results, you should perform the Gua Sha massage regularly, ideally two to three times a week.
