Before each use, you should shorten the wick to about 1.5 cm. Then leave the candle to burn until most of the surface is liquid, but no longer than 5 - 6 hours. Please avoid strong temperature fluctuations and draughts, as soy wax is a natural material and the outer layer of the candle may crack in rare cases.
