Clean your hair first with a silicone-free shampoo such as khadi Amla Shampoo. We recommend that you pre-treat bleached, highlighted or heavily damaged hair with khadi Senna/Cassia, Goldhair or Light Blonde.

Mix khadi Henna, Amla & Jatropha with 80-90 degree hot water until you have a spreadable paste. If you want an intense, fast color result, add acidic additives like apple cider vinegar or lemon. Distribute the natural hair color evenly through your hair with a brush: strand by strand to the tips. If you only want to dye your roots, skip the lengths and tips.

Leave the natural hair color on for between 30 to 120 minutes. The longer it is left on, the darker and stronger the color result will be. To refresh the color, you only need 15 to 30 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly with clean water and you're done.

Do not use shampoo for 24 to 48 hours after coloring. During this time the color develops its full effect. Then apply a khadi hair oil and leave it on for 20 minutes to fix the color pigments. This way your khadi hair color stays intense longer.

Note: Every hair is different just as we are all different. Therefore, the results with natural hair colors can be different. It is best to test the natural hair color khadi Light Brown first on an inconspicuous test strand.

You can mix khadi plant hair color Henna, Amla & Jatropha with all khadi hair colors:

    with khadi light brown, nut brown or dark brown for warm brown shades.
    with khadi golden hue, light blond or medium blond for subtle to intense reddish blond to copper shades (ratio: up to 30%).
