Free your hair first with a silicone-free shampoo such as khadi Hibiscus Shampoo residues. Light blond, white or gray hair please treat with khadi Pure Henna  before at an exposure time of 30 to 60 minutes. Also for blond, streaked or heavily damaged hair, we recommend that you pre-pigment your hair so that it absorbs the color evenly.

Mix the powder in 50 degree hot water. Stir with a whisk until a spreadable paste is formed. Add a teaspoon of alkaline salt to your khadi plant hair color black, it colors faster and the durability is improved. Apply the natural hair color evenly to your hair with a brush: strand by strand from the lengths to the tips. Unless you want to dye only your roots then distribute it only there.

Leave khadi black on for between 30 and 120 minutes. The longer the plant hair color is left on, the darker the color result will be. To refresh the natural hair color, you need only 20 minutes. Then rinse with clean water and you're done.

Do not use shampoo for 24 to 48 hours, because in this time the final color depth unfolds. Then apply khadi hair oil to your hair and let it soak in for 20 minutes before washing your hair with natural shampoo. This way you fix the pigments for a long-lasting color result.

Note: Every hair is different just as we are all different. Therefore, the results with natural hair colors can be different. It is best to test the khadi Natural Hair Color in Black on an inconspicuous trial strand first.

You can also mix khadi Plant Hair Color Black with other khadi hair colors:

    with khadi Color Prep for pre-pigmentation.
    with khadi Pure Henna for pre-pigmentation (ratio: 80% Pure Henna, 20% Black).
    with khadi Indigo for a deeper color result.
    with khadi Henna Shades for individual brown tones or for pre-pigmentation.
