Clean your hair first with a silicone-free shampoo like khadi Amla Shampoo. The plant hair color khadi Indigo can be used pure for dark blond to black base colors. You have lighter hair? Then please pre-pigment with khadi Pure Henna. The same applies to gray, bleached, streaked or heavily damaged hair.

Mix the powder with 50 degree hot water until you have a smooth paste. Add a teaspoon of alkaline salt to make khadi indigo color faster and more intense. Distribute the natural hair color evenly in your hair. Apply it with the brush strand by strand until the tips. If you only want to dye your roots, leave out the lengths and tips. Pre-treat a light base with khadi Henna.

Leave the natural hair color on for between 30 to 120 minutes. The longer it is left on, the darker the color result will be. For color refreshment you need about 20 minutes, for mere pre-pigmentation about 30 minutes. Then rinse with clean water and you're done.

Do not use shampoo for 24 to 48 hours, because this time Khadi Indigo unfolds and develops its noble blue shimmer. Before you wash your hair, use Khadi hair oil and leave it on for 20 minutes. This way your new hair color will last longer.

Note: Each hair is different as we are all different. Therefore, the results with natural hair colors can be different. It is best to test the Khadi Natural Hair Color Pure Indigo on an inconspicuous test strand first.

You can also mix khadi Natural Hair Color Pure Indigo with other khadi hair colors:

    with khadi Color Prep for pre-pigmentation.
    with khadi Pure Henna  for individual brown tones (tip: start with a ratio of 1:1). This mixture is especially suitable if you are allergic.
    with khadi Light Brown, Nut Brown  or Dark Brown for cooler, darker brown tones (ratio: 20 % khadi Indigo. Higher dosages test first on a test strand).
