The secret of our hair dyes lies in the particularly high color intensity of the Ayurvedic ingredients. According to Ayurvedic principles, we harvest the plants only once a year, exactly when the pigments have reached their highest potency. We only use the finest hand-picked plant parts without stems and stalks and grind them into an ultra-fine powder using a highly technical process.

In contrast to synthetic hair dyes, where oxidizing agents swell the hair to open the outer cuticle layer for the pigments, with khadi plant hair dyes the pigments wrap themselves around the cuticle layer of each individual hair like a protective sheath. khadi Berlin Blond is ideal for shading and neutralizing blonde tones that are too warm. Even bright copper nuances can be wonderfully corrected with khadi Berlin Blond. Berlin Blond should not be used on chemically lightened hair without pre-pigmentation with ColorPrep.  The color result always depends on your initial hair color: It ranges from an ashy beige blonde to a desaturated, muted deep blonde.
