The shea soaps from Savon du Midi are made in Provence, France. Only vegetable oils from controlled organic cultivation are used in the saponification process to make the soap.
After saponification, organic shea butter and, depending on the variety, honey, perfume or essential oil are added during the final processing.

The soaps are made in small soap factories using traditional Provencal soap-making skills. No animal fats are used in any of the soaps. The soaps with shea butter are available in the certified varieties Lemongrass, Lavender, Granium, Vanilla, Cinnamon-Orange, Rose Douce Pine, Apricot-Peach, Provence, Honey Epices, Vetyver and Garrigue.
