The company BIOTURM GmbH, located in the Westerwald, was founded in 2001 by Martin Evers, who can now look back on about 30 years of experience in the natural food and natural cosmetics sector. As an organic pioneer, he has been involved since the beginning, first as managing director of Martin Evers Naturkost, and later also for the company Bruno Fischer Naturkost. While Martin was experimenting and testing a lot with natural foods and also dairy products, he quickly noticed the particularly skin-conforming ingredients and properties of organic whey, which he was able to combine through further research in the Lacto-Intensiv Wirkkomplex. From the very beginning until today, the BIOTURM company has been characterized by cooperation based on Christian values.
The Lacto-Intensive Active Complex
To this day, the Lacto-Intensive Active Complex is the effective basis for many of our BIOTURM products - from ointments, creams and lotions to the Intimate Series and shampoos. The complex, extracted from certified organic whey, contains numerous ingredients that are also found in very similar form in the natural skin environment: Whey proteins and amino acids, lactic acid and its salts, minerals, trace elements, carbohydrates and vitamins. It causes normalization of the skin flora and acid mantle. The natural lactic acid, essential amino acids, trace elements, etc. are well absorbed by the skin and normalize the moisture content. Thus, the skin gets what it needs to become healthy and stay healthy.
