From the KLAR SEIFENMANUFAKTUR there is now also solid shampoo available.
What is solid shampoo and how does it differ from liquid shampoo and hair soaps?
Hair soaps are, as the name suggests, boiled soaps. They differ from solid shampoo in their ingredients and also in the process of their formation. The basic ingredients of every soap are fats and lyes. In addition there are oils. If fat remains in the saponification process, the soap has an "over-fat". The hair is happy about this, depending on the hair type, more or less. In many cases, however, such an excessive oil content makes the hair more difficult and also leads to an oily appearance. Hair soaps usually do not foam as strongly as liquid shampoos.
Solid shampoos - foaming in a different league
Solid shampoo is basically nothing more than liquid shampoo from which the water has been removed. It therefore has all the advantages of a classic shampoo, from its creamy lather to its caring effect. At the same time, however, it is a dry product, so it is packaged in cardboard or paper instead of plastic bottles.
